It is the final day of the Newton’s Nook Designs August Release Reveals! The new release will be available tomorrow! I’m also excited to officially start as a Design Team Member. I’ve been a long time fan of Newton’s Nook Designs and can’t wait to show you how I was inspired by this release!

Here’s how I was inspired:
I used the same card design and colors for both cards with a bit of a mixing and matching!
First up is Knight Owl:
I combined the Framework Die Set and Banner Trio with these designs. Do you see the Houndstooth stencil? I’ve been really into the tone on tone stencil work for this release!
I love all the layers but mostly love that it stays postal friendly with this design too!

Pug-kin, you gotta love that! My friend owns a firecracker pug named Sheldon. I’m going to send this card to him [wink].
Do you see how I used the overall same design but changed the cardstock colors and ink for stenciling? This worked out especially nicely with the ‘smaller’ images.
I’m really loving this Halloween color palette of Orange, Purple, Gray and White.

Love the unique purple, orange, & gray color combination on both of your cards & the use of the houndstooth stencil to create a subtle background for the Pug-kin & Knight-owl stamps!
