Take Care Friend | Waffle Flower Crafts

Thanks to my friends at Waffle Flower for sending me some product to play with. I’ll be sharing a couple projects over the next week or so. Here’s my first one:

I combined these Waffle Flower products:

Did you know that butterflies symbolize hope – the ability to adapt and find joy in a changing world. Adapting means to change your behavior to deal with a new situation. It’s hard to not be overwhelmed with all that is being tossed our way on social media. This card is for all of you that have been stressed these past several weeks.

Most of the paper I used was watercolor. The Mod Blossom panel, I kept intact and then ink blended:

  • Speckled Egg
  • Peacock Feathers
  • Chipped Sapphire

I made a ‘flat shaker’ using flat sequins, no foam tape!

I used the coordinating stencil for the Butterfly Focal die using the same color palette as the ink blended panel. To break up the colors, I used gold glitter paper for the butterfly body.

The sentiment, from the Paper Hugs Sentiment set, has been heat embossed in white on black cardstock.

A big thank you to Waffle Flower!
