I’ve had that black polka heart floating around on my desk for a couple weeks. Of course it took me forever to find it this morning because I knew what I wanted to do with it. Today’s project features the following Pretty Pink Posh products:

💗 Eyelet Hearts | die
I die cut two of the eyelet hearts. One of them I cut up to use as a stencil. I cut out the interior of the heart, lined it up + stenciled with black ink. I wanted to carry the polka theme on the base, love the lighter pink cardstock with a bit darker pink ink that I stenciled with.
So yes, I masked the heart to stencil. See the sentiment strip? The stamp originally reads:

just for boo
Rather than masking the sentiment, I did some creative snipping 🫣 and basically separated line 1 + 2. I also snipped off the boo. Then I lined up the ‘new’ line 1 + 2 in the mini misti. It’s been heat embossed in white on black cardstock. Masking would have removed the ‘boo’ but would not have centered line 2…
The ghost has been cut with white craft foam and I inked up her cheek in pink.
