Coffee Date | Coffee Loving Papercrafters

I’m up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog for the Coffee Date feature! My date is my friend, Chris Franco with Stampin’ Up! You’ll want to pop over there to read about the giveaways!

Today we’re both featuring the Stampin’ Up Latte Love!

I had so much fun mixing up the Latte Love Bundle – it includes the coordinating dies. I also added the previously released – retired Coffee Break designer paper. Both cards use the same basic design. I just switched up the pattern panels a bit.

This first card features the stamped coffee mugs and coordinating die. The sentiment is from the photopolymer set – Saying Hey. It has been fussy cut.

Originally I was going to share one project but then thought that I wanted to also feature the ‘free standing’ dies from the set:

The coffee carafe is a couple layers, starting from the bottom I used a super pale green, then added the ‘coffee’ with the same woodgrain paper that is on the front of the card and then topped it off with vellum. The green elements helped me ‘hide’ the glue. I used the same cardstock for the two coffee mugs and added a dark brown for the coffee. On this design, I used a bit of gold glitter cardstock on the diagonal.

The Latte Love collection is so much fun!

Hop over to the blog to see Chris’ projects and for information on our prizes!
