Hey, I’m back with another project for the #StayCraftyChallenge on the Hero Arts blog. Here’s how I was inspired:
My project features:
- CG787 – Cathedral of Trees | bold prints
- G6071 – Absolutely Awesome | wood stamp
The old is the Absolutely Awesome sentiment. It is from the Spring 2015. I love the mix of fonts and of course the sentiment itself. It has been heat embossed in white on a black strip of cardstock.
The Cathedral of Trees is amazing isn’t it? I decided to stamp it in black on a purple panel for a change of pace. I love using non-traditional colors.
Do you have woodblock stamps in your stash? I would love it if you would join me for my Woodblock Wednesday feature. It posts the last Wednesday of each month. The linky is open until the following Monday morning. Join me this month and if you use a oldie but goodie, you’ll still be able to link up to the Stay Crafty Challenge too!

Absolutely beautiful, so creative and beautifully designed!! My goal is to play in your Woodblock challenge each month this year, I think last year I only managed one or two, and a friend gave me ALL her woodblock stamps and with what I already have, that’s a ton of them, 19 cases and 5 drawers of them, let alone all my SU ones!! so you will be seeing me!!
Thank you for joining our challenge at Word Power!
