Here’s how I was inspired by this gorgeous new collection. I’m featuring the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Flourishing Garden. Craft Your Life Project Kits will no longer be released to the public in the Altenew store, not like other subscription products. It will only be available via the Ultimate Subscription Plan or Craft Your Life Project Kit Monthly Subscription Plan.

I have several projects to share so let’s get started:

Here’s a closer look at each of these projects:

This project shows the gorgeous 6×8 Stamp set. I teamed it up with the coordinating simple coloring stencils. The stamp set includes a wonderful variety of sentiments. The coordinating dies also include ones to cut the bolded sentiments.

Do you spy the dry embossed background featuring the Flourishing Garden 6×6 3D embossing folder?

How about a tone on tone design? Pink and Green is one of my favorite color combos. The sentiment has been heat embossed with a copper embossing powder.

If you’ve been following for a bit, I’ve been super smitten with color:

Honestly the beauty of paper crafting is the ability to have a rainbow garden of blooms.

I love to design cards that feature one color. I have been really loving aquas lately! Using the coordinating stencils for the blooms make the coloring look so smooth and blended.

Here’s my final project today:

I love using colored cardstock with stamp sets and teaming them up with a contrasting ink. So easy smeasy. Add a dark background panel for more drama to the design. The sentiment has been heat embossed in white on a black cardstock strip. It is one of many that are included in the Flourishing Garden set.

Next up is the amazing Rachael Shedeed! In case you get lost, the entire hop listing:

  1. Lovely and Delicate! I especially like the 1st card with embossing folder and die cut flowers. Wonderful dimension!

  2. I tend to be more of a monochromatic card designer so my favorite is the aqua card. Thanks for reminding me again that I should be stamping on colored paper more.

  3. Love all of the pretty color combos! The flowers are beautiful! My favorite is the card with the embossed background and pink flowers!

  4. As I said in a previous blog, I love this big, bold stamp. It is so versitile and the cards you’ve done are beautiful. I especially like the tone on tone green card.

  5. Fantastic projects, those florals are gorgeous in every palette showcased! Thank you of all of this inspiration.

  6. wow – love your cards – the tone-on-tone green card is awesome – looks like it has been embossed – thanks for the ideas

  7. Your cards are absolutely gorgeous. The colors, the layouts, the beautiful Altenew designs — I love them all and I love this release!

  8. Hi Amy. I like the variety of all your cards. I especially love the “Just a Note” card. Everything about it is soft and delicate. I love everything about it from the embossing folder to the bow.

  9. Very beautiful. I rarely think to use aqua on florals and it’s so pretty. Must expand my color palette.
