Sending Smiles | Reverse Confetti

I absolutely LOVE it when I’m inspired by a challenge. Have you checked out the current Color Hues Challenge? It was Julie from their DT that inspired me with her project HERE.

Honestly I have loads of stamps and dies so I probably tend to stick with the same sets or manufacturers. When I spotted Julie’s project, I knew I wanted to feature Reverse Confetti too:

  • Flower Builder | confetti cuts
  • Sending Smiles | stamp + confetti cuts

I’m not going to lie, I miss Reverse Confetti. I absolutely loved designing projects with their products.

The base panel Distress Oxide blend is:

  • Scattered Straw
  • Tea Dye
  • Vintage Photo

The flower pieces are all cut from watercolor paper with the exception of the black pieces. For the bloom petals I used Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide for a bit of a contrast from the base panel.

I love the Splatter Dots woodblock stamp from Impress. This is when I tell you that I can’t seem to do that in real life. It turns out to be a real big mess.
