Hello | Angie Blom Digital + Graciellie Design

Hello! I’m popping in here to post some last minute projects that were inspired by:

Freshly Made Sketches:

and also the Color Throwdown:

I was inspired by THIS card by my Coffee Loving Cardmakers teamie, Mary. The card is hanging out with me in my craftroom. It is really a beauty.

Each colored version of the dahlia is a bit different. The first card had to be rescued because one of the polkas was injured. You can see it in the photo above, it’s the card on the left. I rescued it by adding the dark brown twine. This second card has a light touch on the orange zig clean color real brush marker and no Shadow Mauve around the dahlia.

This final card has a touch of pink on the petals. I’m featuring the following digital stamp sets:

  • Angie Blom Digital Designs | Dahlia Delight [dahlia]
  • Gracielle Design | Luscious Bouquet [sentiment]
  • Graciellie Designs | Vintage Library Cards

Everything was printed on watercolor paper. I use the Avery.com Postcards Tall #8382. It gives me a better view of what the digital design will look like. I layered each of the elements and printed it out on my Laser Printer. I trimmed each design out to an A2 panel. I colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and their blender pen. When each was completed, I used a rectangle die to cut out the Library Card.

  1. Such a gorgeous image! I love it with this sketch and the kraft polka dots behind it. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  2. Such delightful floral cards Amy… I love the one with the pink in the petals. Your backgrounds withe the embossingxadd so much interest without detracting from the image.
    Blessings
