Waffle Flower Crafts Reminder | Instagram Giveaway!

I’m back to share another project that features the Waffle Flower Grip Mat. Just a reminder that I have a giveaway on my Instagram account. A big thank you to Waffle Flower for their generosity!

Here’s a peek at some of the supplies I used for today’s project:

  • Sketched Hawthorn Stamp Set
  • Sketched Hawthorn Matching Die
  • Sketched Hawthorn Foil Plate
  • Sketched Hawthorn Coloring Stencil
  • Zigzag Foil Plate
  • Subsentiment Hello Diecut Sheet

I’ve been using my Grip Mat to ink blend Distress Oxide backgrounds. Today’s card used the Grip Mat to do the stencil work on the beautiful Sketched Hawthorn stamped image. It makes it super easy to complete the different layers of coloring since the stencil sticks to the Grip Mat.

The Hawthorn Rose image has been hot foiled in gold. Since I’ve made the hop over to the Spellbinders system, the process has been super easy. I struggled and was always frustrated with my earlier Crafters Companion foiling platform. Check out that gorgeous Zigzag foiled background panel.

This is when I also mention that the Waffle Flower Subsentiment diecuts are a must have. It makes finishing off a project super easy and quick.

Grip Mat Review: I love it and will collect a couple of the different sizes. I highly recommend watching these Waffle Flower YouTube videos:

My card was inspired by the Inkspirational Challenge – Stencils:

I’m also playing along with their optional twist – layering stencils.

  1. Wonderful card Amy – those mats look as though they will be so useful – I have one on back order with a local firm, that sold out at a recent craft fair…
