Lawn Fawn | Guest Designer

A big thank you to the folks at Lawn Fawn for sending me some goodies from the release that dropped today! Over the next couple of days I’ll be sharing several projects.

Here’s how I was inspired:

If you’ve been following me over on instagram for about the last 2 years, you will have ‘met’ my grandpup, Kuma. Today, I’m super excited to share a couple projects I created that features the new set, Yappy Birthday. I adore these sweet pups and couldn’t wait to ink them up!

It’s such a fun set! This card combines:

  • Yappy Birthday stamps + lawn cuts
  • Let’s Celebrate backdrop
  • Foursquare backdrop: landscape – previously released

The stitched speech bubble is from the Foursquare Backdrop and fit the sentiment perfectly. Isn’t the Let’s Celebrate backdrop fun?! It’s a beautiful intricate cut of all things festive. I used an 80 lb Neenah cardstock for that one.

The distress oxides I used are by :

  • Blueprint Sketch
  • Salty Ocean
  • Twisted Citron

Here’s my other project:

This one combines:

  • Yappy Birthday stamps + lawn cuts
  • Giant Make a Wish
  • Slimline Cloudy stencils – previously released

I couldn’t help cutting one of the Make A Wish sentiments in glitter cardstock. I backed it with a green cardstock so that it defines it.

I really wanted to use that pup and the balloons but he didn’t look quite right with my first card so he’s the star of the show on this rainbow happy design.

The distress oxides I used:

  • Kitsch Flamingo
  • Carved Pumpkin
  • Mustard Seed
  • Mowed Lawn

I have another post for today that features another Lawn Fawn project, watch for it!

  1. Two sweet cards – love the dog with the balloons attached, and the doggie picnic is priceless. A beautiful die cut to frame that one also
