I’ve become such a slow and [messier] crafter. So when I had a bunch of new goodies out working on a DT project. I whipped together this project. For someone that is a not much of a floral person, I’ve been really loving them.

When I say, not a flower person, I mean in the crafty sense. I LOVE flowers and have a fresh bouquet of tulips that I picked up from Trader Joes. Crafty wise, in the past, I didn’t gravitate to florals. Today’s project features [mostly] Honey Bee Stamps:
- Lovely Layers: Dogwood | honey cuts
- Big Time Kindness | stamp + honey cuts
- Mugs & Kisses | honey cuts
- Scallop A2 Card Frames | honey cuts

I put together one of the Dogwood branches and trimmed it apart to fit the 2 mugs. Yes, I was a happy crafter when I made them fit perfectly. Now that I’ve taken 2 pottery classes, I appreciate pottery even more than I did before. My third class is next month using a pottery wheel. I can’t wait!
The paper + cardstock for this card:
- My Favorite Things – Subtle Plaids | 6×6
- Concord & 9th – Sprout | cardstock
- Concord & 9th – Parsley | cardstock
- Concord & 9th – Wheat | cardstock
- Stampin’ Up – Wild Wasabi | cardstock
I thought I was going to use Parsley for the Mug but found that Wild Wasabi was a better match. The leaves are Parsley which have a nice subtle contrast in color.
