I was thoroughly inspired by THIS project by Mama Elephant DT – Mimi Lo. Her grey background was so WOW. I wanted to do my own take on hers which ended up being more difficult than I had anticipated. I started this late in the afternoon yesterday and didn’t take pics until 7 pm. It is basically a mash up of a couple different ideas I had swirling around. Bottom line, I need to set up my sewing machine so that I can work with vellum panels and not have to think about adhesive. The colored raindrops was almost an afterthought but I LOVE how they really add to the overall design. I had a break in my design time because the project just wasn’t coming together and I was feeling stressed by it. I’m so happy that I persevered after taking a dinner break.

I can’t wait to see how my teamies were inspired!
