Happy Friday! Today I’m featuring the Mama Elephant Sweet Treats and Hot Cocoa sets. These stamps go together beautifully. The Hot Cocoa set wasn’t initially in my plans but I’m always happy to incorporate caffeinated images.
I’m back with my pastel-y color palette. I’m trying out the set of Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers. More about those in a smidge.
You can’t readily tell by the photography but the center square started as a 3×3 Close to My Heart – Ballerina panel. I inked up the bottom with Dusty Concord and the center with Kitsch Flamingo. I didn’t go heavy handed with the blending.
Why the Tri-Blends? I decided to try them out for traveling. A set of 24 is really 72 colors. The Essential Blends set has a bit of everything. My hope is to do more flying this summer so I wanted to be able to pack some images to color to keep crafty.
My design was inspired by the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge:
