Make a Wish! Waffle Flower

 

I decided to play along with Waffle Flower’s Week 3 Challenge:

I combined Waffle Flower’s:

Nesting Coffee Cups
Star Wish Panel Die
Poinsettia Panel Die
Snowflake Background Stencil
Nesting Stitched Circles
Tiny Terrarium

The Blue + White challenge is a good one for me.  I don’t tend to gravitate to blues.  I stenciled the Snowflakes on the straw with white ink.  I used the Make a Wish sentiment from the Star Wish Panel Die set as a sentiment flag.

You can see the Poinsettia background in the first photo.

  1. Super fun card! Love the idea of having the sentiment branch off from the straw, almost giving it the look of a flag and flagpole. I'll definitely be tucking that one away in the ol' inspiration file in my head. 🙂
