I’ve been wanting to ink up the Clearly Besotted – Pick A Peony set. It’s a beauty!
I’m still smitten with black + white panels so I used my Mini MISTI and inked up one of the floral images with Versafine Onyx on a Neenah Solar White 110 panel. I tried to ink the images fairly close together. I used a Hero Arts Nesting Circle die for the center.
I used a Bristol panel and inked it up with
Ripe Persimmon | Abandoned Coral | Scattered Straw
I finished it off with water drops. The base panel is Stampin’ Up Calypso Coral.
The blooms have been colored with:
R21 | R22
Y15 | Y19
G00 | G12
The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted’s Simply Said set.
This card is going to a dear friend that recently lost her Mother, see THIS post. I just noticed on FB yesterday that her husband’s birthday is today so you’ll be seeing a masculine birthday card soon.
Thanks for stopping by.

A very beautifully coloured card & great sentiment, your friend is lucky to have a friend as talented & caring x
What a lovely card! Very pretty
Hugs to you Amy. Like the symbolism u r using on this card: life May contain a little color in spots here and there, when you r grieving (such as having supporting friends, loving family, work that u can delve into).
So very pretty Amy! Love the background you made.
This is gorgeous, Amy!
