Reverse Confetti June Blog Hop!

Today is the 8th of June which mean the Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!  Before I get to the hop details, I did want you know about the sale that is going on:
June is filled with Birthday’s and Graduations!  Today’s project is for one of the graduations, my girl will officially graduate on Saturday.  Although she decided to not walk, I told her that she ‘has to’ on her next degrees (wink).  She will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology/Molecular Cellular Developmental Biology and a Global Health Minor. (Proud Momma!)  She’s eventually going to end up with a Ph.D.  She’s taking a year off to continue to work at her current job in a lab.

I designed a giftie duo in the University of Washington colors,  Royal Purple + Sunshine (aka purple + gold).

Let’s start with the Treat Tube and Treat Tube Topper:

I used Royal Purple for the Treat Tube Toppers and stuffed the Treat Tube with shredded kraft krinkle paper.  It will have good ‘ole cashola in it.  The girl is looking for another place to move to and rent is not cheap in Seattle.

I used the Sunburst Tag Layer in Sunshine, backed with the Topped Off Tag.  The layers have been separated with foam adhesive.  The Hooray for you is from the Simply Sentiments set, it has been stamped in Royal Purple ink.

The card features the adorable Miso Happy set:

Do you see what I see?  Any Asian Foodies out there?  The Miso Happy set looks like this:
The Miso Happy stamp set features the most darling panda bears along with coordinating images of bamboo, rocks and bowls.  Also included in this stamp set are 3 great sentiments to pair with the images.  Coordinating Confetti Cuts die set available.
I swear those rocks look like baos.  So with that in mind, I surrounded that sweet panda with bunches of them (smile).  What better way to celebrate than with Baos + Rice?!

The sentiment on the card is from the Simply Sentiments set.  It’s been teamed up with the Sunburst Cover Panel.  I used Sunshine cardstock with the Cover Panel.

You’ll want to hop around and check out what my teamies are sharing!  Leave a comment along the way for a chance to win a $15 Gift Certificate.  Commenting will close on June 11th.

Next up is Kathy Schweinfurth!  In case you get lost along the way, here’s the complete hop listing:
