A party without cake…

What?  I know, it isn’t a coffee card but there’s a coffee story behind this card (smiles).
I’m notorious for NOT making birthday cards…yes, I know.  I average (easily) 7 cards a week and I’m always scurrying to whip up a card at the last minute.  Well, I’m on the look out for awesome birthday sets and what’s not to love about the

Isn’t it perfect with the Hero Arts Ombre ink?!  I must be the only crafter that doesn’t have any luck with white gel pens…they always seem to hiccup on me and that drives me batty.  I LOVE the American Crafts Chalk Markers –> seriously race to your local T$spot…I spotted them there again!

The coffee correlation?  I want to introduce you to my A Muse Consultant, Chris Franco.  I know her from the Coffee Lovers Blog Hops

  2. The $ spot at Target…I could spend an hour there and spend a lot more than a buck. Cool card! I have one ombre pad that I am excited to try.

  3. What a fabulous card Amy! Love the beautiful ink color you chose and that sentiment is amazing!

  4. Ooh, fabulous card, Amy! Like you, I'm terrible with b-day cards and am always making one at the last minute. I gave up on white gel pens a while back since they never seem to consistently work for me. I'll have to check chalk pens – thanks for the tip!

  5. This is such a perfect card – CAS and fun! Love the marker tip and the look of the ombre ink. Thank you too for the shout out – I can't believe this is already the second year (or is it 3rd?) year of the Coffee Lover blog hops. You are amazing!

  6. This sentiment is so true! I have similar issues with white gel pens, they and black embossing powder are the bane of my crafting existence!
