SugarPea Designs Guest Designer: TIMBER!

Hello!  I’m back as a Guest Designer for SugarPea Designs!  I couldn’t wait to ink up the Timber set:

He totally makes me smile…love his facial expression!  When my boy was much younger (he’s 18) whenever he saw a lumberjack he would call them leprechauns (chuckling).  Don’t know where he learned that from but it still cracks me up.

I colored Mr. Lumberjack with my Zig Clean Color Markers.  Love the how he looks on the SugarCuts Zig Zag Stitched Circle.  I had to do a close up so you could see the base panel was cut from the SugarCuts Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle:
My card was inspired by the current SugarSketch:

The SugarCuts Stitched Flags worked perfectly!  Can you believe the flags are actually a Holiday paper collection?

I’ve love for you to pop over to the SugarPea Designs blog and say Hello!

  2. Great card, Amy, Mr. Lumberjack cracks me up every time I see him, hee hee! I'm still amazed that lumberjacks have become "a thing" in the stamping world, who'd have thunk it ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Amy I just love this card, what a perfect masculine set and the lumberjackk is so buff! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. Oh my!! What a fabulous card!! I LOVE how you colored him in!! That sketch was PERFECT for the image too!!!

  5. Great male card. Cute story, when my son was little my husband let him watch Jurassic Park, for the record we fought about it, lol. If you've seen the movie the part when it was raining and thundering and the T-Rex came an ate the man. Well after that every time it rained and thundered my son thought dinosaur's were going to come and eat him, lol. Needless to say there were lots of sleepiness nights. Thanks for sharing.

  6. I love this card Amy! It's funny what kids come out with isn't it?! My son (who is 8 now) once saw some pinecones when he was younger, and asked me if they turned into hedgehogs!! That will always make me smile ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. This I such a fun masculine card! Your comment about leprechauns totally made me giggle out loud lol!

  8. Hi Amy! I love this burly guy mixed with the wood grain paper – you colored him up nice too – bright, fresh and fun!
