Reverse Confetti: Happy Fall-idays – Halloween

this is post 1 of 2…click HERE for my Neat & Tangled winner post

Today is the start of  Reverse Confetti’s First Annual Happy Fall-idays online showcase event!  We are going to share all kinds of fun projects with you, are you ready?!

Here’a a pic I took of the start of my project using the new Frosted Pillow Boxes…I love them!

I happened to have this glorious orange wool trim that I’ve been hoarding for awhile but the pillow boxes can be embellished with paper belly bands, ribbon, twine…you name it.

I made a trio of tags to attach to the pillow boxes, check the out:

cardstock:  papertrey ink vellum  stamps:  reverse confetti later gator  ink:  memento tuxedo, various copis  other:  reverse confetti later gator/tag me too confetti cuts, reverse confetti quick card panels fall fun, reverse confetti frosted pillow box, orange wool trim, may arts twine
My first tag uses the Tag Me Too Confetti Cuts.  The base is a Quick Card Panel from the Fall Fun Collection.  I layered a vellum panel on top to mute the colors.  I did some quick scribbling with a copic marker so that it makes that cute gator the star of the show!  Love the Later Alligator set!  His fun hat is from the Too Cute to Spook Confetti Cuts set.

Next up is a little Love Note:

cardstock:  recollections/110/white stamps:  reverse confetti too cute to spook  ink:  memento tuxedo, various copics  other:  reverse confetti fall fun quick card panel, reverse confetti love note/too cute to spook confetti cuts, reverse confetti frosted pillow box, may arts twine, orange wool trim

I used another Quick Card Panel from the Fall Fun Collection with the Love Note Confetti Cut.  Seriously, the Too Cute To Spook set is just, well, Too Cute!  To stamp on the QCP, I use StazOn.  Isn’t that spider adorable?!

Here’s my last tag:

cardstock:  ranger watercolor, stampin’ up basic black  stamps:  reverse confetti too cute to spook  ink:  ranger archival black, kuretake gansai tambi  other:  reverse confetti fall fun quick card panel, reverse confetti too cute to spook/weather it together confetti cuts, reverse confetti frosted pillow box, may arts twine, orange wool trim, white kraft foam
I cut the Fall Fun Quick Card Panel into a tag shape and topped it with a smidge of cork.  I used those cute cats from Too Cute To Spook but this time I stamped them on watercolor paper.  I had so much fun coloring them with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi….This time I realized I could use my acrylic block to smoosh the paint that I picked up on my brush and add a bit of water to soften the color…that’s the pale gray.

The clouds?  I used the Weather It Together Confetti Cuts set and cut the cloud out of white craft foam.  I’ve been seeing the Halloween color combo of orange, purple and green!

Here’s the trio all together:
Love how the embellished Frosted Pillow Boxes turned out!  I can’t wait to hop around and see what my other teamies designed.
