Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day Five: I like you a latte + Hero Arts Giveaway!

Hello!  Today is Day Five of the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I’m so thrilled to be a part of this hop and hope you enjoy all the inspiration!
Have you hopped around to see all of the amazing projects?!  I’m totally inspired by everyone’s creativity!  Today I have a fun post, I posted this on IG and FB last week:

Hero Arts sent me a couple of Sand to Chocolate Brown Ombre Ink Pads….It’s perfect for all those awesome coffee, tea &/or cocoa cards:

Doesn’t the ombre look AWESOME with that latte image from the Hero Arts Need Caffeine set?!

What works best are solid images so that the ombre really shines through!

Here’s another card I whipped up using 2 different ombre pads:
cardstock:  recollections/110, stampin’ up melon mambo  stamps:  hero arts need caffeine/good luck  ink:  hero arts ombre sand to chocolate brown/pink to red, hero arts cup o’ joe dauber  other:  recollections glitter cardstock

Pinterest is such a great inspiration for me.  I knew that I wanted to combine the “You make my world happy” image, from the Hero Arts Good Luck set and those coffee cups but couldn’t figure out a way…Pinterest to the rescue!  I used THIS pin as my inspiration.  I’m super happy with it since I’ve been seeing a lot of awesome repeated stamping techniques via the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  


The splats are ala a Hero Arts Dauber…get ready for it….Cup O’ Joe!  The coffee cups are stamped using the Ombre Pink to Red pad.
